Benya Arroyave

Benya Arroyave was born in Buriram, Thailand in a small rice farming village near the Cambodian border. As a young girl, she would give her father Traditional Thai and Back Walking massage each night after a long hard day in the field.  She cultivated her power of healing and care while growing up appreciating the simple Buddhist way of life.  With a burning ambition, she left her village at an early age and became the first person in her family to get a University degree.  In 2006, Benya's journey brought her to Canada where she further developed her Traditional Thai Massage and Back Walking techniques as well as attaining a Doctorate of Osteopathy Manual Technique and an Honours Diploma in Medical Aesthetics.

Benya believes in the deep and meaningful powers of Traditional Thai and Back Walking Massage and its ability to relieve stress and anxiety by calming the body through the ancient healing powers of touch.  In 2014, Benya realized her calling when she returned to Thailand to care for her mother, who suffered a stroke and could not walk.  Through daily massage and the healing power of touch, Benya's mother regained her strength and was able to walk again.
