Lama Halabi
Lama graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in English and Sociology, and moved away to teach English abroad for a few years. She began using yoga with students and noticed the difference meditation and attention to breath had on development. Lama came back home and became a certified yoga teacher with a passion for learning about the human body and all that it is capable of.
Practicing yoga is one of the many factors to staying healthy and happy, which is why Lama has also recently become a certified Nutrition and Wellness Consultant from the American Fitness Professionals Association, AFPA.
Lama is super excited to combine yoga and nutrition in ways to make life enjoyable and healthy! She also enjoys making mala beads, exploring trails in and around Toronto, and watching old movies.
